This qualification is designed to provide a technical introduction to digital games production. You will develop skills in areas such as game development, 3D modelling and environments and games testing. This qualification is for post-16 learners who are looking to progress to higher or degree apprenticeships, employment or to further education or training. This qualification has been designed to support progression to a range of employment opportunities in digital games production, and to a range of higher education courses. While taking this qualification, it is expected that you will engage with sector employers as part of their course, where you will be given opportunities to develop practical skills in preparation for employment.
