The qualification gives a broad overview of the business sector. Learners will develop their knowledge through the application of current business and economic topics. Students complete four units over two years. The extended certificate is the equivalent to 1 A level. This course is designed for post 16 learners who aim to progress to higher education or training in business and as part of a programme of study alongside other BTEC Nationals and or A Levels.
