What the college says
If you have an inquiring mind and relish the opportunity to build on your scientific knowledge, Applied Science could be for you. The course covers a cross-section from the three pure sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) and will introduce you to fascinating areas of cutting-edge science. This is a hands-on course with a greater emphasis on the practical elements of the three sciences. Carrying equivalent UCAS points to an A Level, this level 3 qualification can also open the door to university.
