This course is designed to provide entry and progression into the animal management industries. The Animal Management BTEC is the ideal foundation to future animal sector where you are working directly with animals, for example zoos, farms or pet shops. It will also provide valuable experience for careers concerned specifically with animal welfare, for example animal charities, welfare organisations or veterinary science. Throughout the course you will learn in a hands on, practical way and get fully involved in the care of animals and the running of the school farm. This course will help you develop a wide range of skills and experience in the important aspects of animal care and livestock husbandry.
