Anyone intending to pursue health, fitness or sports-related occupations in the future such as recreation management, sports development, coaching, instructing or teaching. It allows you to explore sport both theoretically and as a performer. The equivalent of 2 A levels, you can study it alongside other level 3 courses such as A levels or other work related qualifications. You'll get transferable skills such as teamwork, leadership and resilience that are useful for a variety of careers and higher education courses.

What you need to get on

4 GCSEs grade 4 or above including English. Preferably a GCSE grade 4 or above in PE or BTEC Level 2 Pass. Students should have a high level of interest in sport/physical activity and ideally be an active participant.
