The BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Music is a two year course equivalent to one A Level. The course has 4 units that enable learners to develop performance and composition skills alongside exploration of the Music Industry in practice. This course is for learners interested in developing their wider musicianship with a view to progressing to ongoing musical study at higher education, apprenticeship or employment. It is designed to be taken as part of a programme of study that includes other BTEC Nationals or A Levels.

What you need to get on

L2 Pass in Music plus must produce a 10-15 minute showcase of music pieces. Can perform either as a solo/ensemble or mix of both. Grade 4 in GCSE English Language. Good attitude to learning and excellent attendance.
