What the college says
This course is for anyone interested in learning about the health and social care sector and is normally taken as part of a wider study programme to compliment or contrast with other level 3 subjects. If you want to pursue a career in health care support work, or to move towards a professional career such as nursing or social work, this course could be for you. It's equivalent in size to half an A level. The course will give you a basic introduction to health and social care from which you can go on to higher education, an apprenticeship or employment.

4 GCSE's at grade 4 or above or a relevant level 2 qualification.
