What the college says
This course develops and tests your music knowledge and practical skills. You will study 6 units over the year: pop music in practice; music performance technique; music project; ensemble performance; composing skills and aural perception skills. The highlight of the course is the Big Gig the students devise and perform in. This is a great evening that many look forward too and gives the students a chance to showcase their talents.
What you need to get on
To do this course, you will need: 5 A*-C at GCSE including a B grade in Music.

One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
