This course gives you a blend of practical performance, independent coursework and external examinations. The opportunity to gain practical experience in the Sports industry(Unit 3) gives students a chance to build connections and develop their skills in the professional environment, experience that will support them in future career choices and applications to higher education.

What you need to get on

Students should have studied Physical Education and / or Sport Studies at GCSE, acheiveing at least a Grade 4 (or equivalent). A Grade 4 in Science will be required due to the scientific content of the Anatomy and Physiology units. For those who have not studied Physical Education and / or Sports Studies at GCSE, may be considered providing you have a keen interest in physical activity and a Grade 4 in Science GCSE.
