Anyone with a general interest in sport and active leisure will enjoy the course. The BTEC Extended Certificate in Sport covers a wide range of aspects such as leadership, fitness training & anatomy and physiology, to provide a broad picture of how the Sport and Active Leisure industry operates in the real world. The transferable sport skills that students will develop include leadership, teamwork, working independently, planning, time management, problem solving, and the effective use of I.C.T.

What you need to get on

Standard entry requirements: Maths&Eng Lang grade 4. Based on Attainment 8 scores we will offer the following pathways: Vocational Pathway (selecting only Vocational Courses): 40, Combination Pathway (selecting a mixture of A Level and Vocational): 45, A Level Pathway (selecting only A Levels): 50. Subject specific requirements: Standard. No previous PE background is required however they will need at least a grade 4 if the student sat GCSE PE or a Level 2 Pass for Cambridge National.
