BTEC Sport would suit students who have a keen interest in the theory surrounding sport, even if do not compete or participate regularly at a high standard. You can go on to higher education to study a degree in sports studies / science, sports therapy, sports coaching, leisure studies or PE teaching. Those who wish to pursue careers in professional sport would also find the course highly useful.

What you need to get on

BTEC Sport L2 grade: Merit or above / GCSE PE grade: 4 or above. If neither - then a competitive level of sport currently undertaken and a GCSE Science grade: 4 or above..
