What is it? This course is designed for students who wish to explore and develop their technique, choreography and analytical skills of dance. It provides exploration of a variety of genres and styles including; contemporary dance, jazz dance, post modern dance, pop dance and lyrical dance. BTEC Level 3 Dance is a practically assessed course, and can be taken as either a single course or as a triple course. Students on the triple course cover the same content as the single course but also take further modules from the BTEC Level 3 Performing Arts course with a dance focus.Please note that this course can not be taken in combination with any other BTEC Performing Arts course.

What you need to get on

As BTEC level 3 courses are advanced courses, we require five A*- C passes of 4 (C) grade or above (or equivalent) including English language or maths. Please see our website for any specific course requirements.
