This course is designed to equip students with the key skills needed to develop their personal social and vocational skills required for employment or further study. Students will cover a range of topics including how to present a business idea research other businesses brand a product and communicate with customers. Students will also learn how to record the income and expenditure of a business and contribute to the running of an event as well as transferable skills including customer communication developing a personal progression plan and research techniques. What you need to get on

You will need Functional skills in English and maths at Level 1 or Entry Level 3 and have a keen interest in business.
