What the college says

The BTEC in Digital Media is designed around practical skills and tasks and offers an introduction to the digital media sector. Over the course of two years, learners will develop the skills needed for: ? Animation pre-production, production and post-production and will use these skills to plan and produce an animated sequence for a specific purpose. ? Producing an interactive presentation that incorporates media content. ? Planning a film shoot, utilising the different functions of a camera and capturing footage. ? Utilising key techniques to help organise their work and priorities and manage their time effectively. ? Progressing to the next stage in their learning, identifying progression opportunities and creating a plan to enable them to get there. Alongside the qualification, students will also have several visits from individuals working in the industry and school trips with links to future career opportunities.
