This course gives learners the opportunity to gain a broad knowledge and understanding of, and develop skills in, the travel and tourism sector. The course is delivered in a vocational style and uses educational visits to illustrate examples and current practice in Travel and Tourism. This years group have planned and completed walking tours of Lancaster, Morecambe and Silverdale and Arnside and visited and studied the new developments at Barton Grange Garden Centre. During the rest of the course they will visit Liverpool, Sizergh Castle and will plan their own adventurous activity day.
