The programme includes a challenging mix of hands-on practical assignments, team work and class-based theory and demonstrations. You will also benefit from a varied programme of visits and residentials including trips to fire stations, the Royal Navy, C.T.C.R.M Lympstone, the Brecon Beacons and Calshot and more. There will also be additional visits and work placements throughout the academic year.

What you need to get on

You will need 5 GCSEs at grades A-C, including Maths and English. Evidence of previous work experience would be useful. A willingness to work in the industry and the ability to succeed are very important.
