What the college says
The course is offered as both a single and double A Level equivalent allowing students to specialise in the field. It is assessed through a combination of coursework and exam units (60%) and leads to a range of university courses and careers including: Accountancy, Finance, IT/Computing, Operations, Marketing, Teaching, Public Relations, Human Resourcing, Management and International Retail. The Business course is an exciting insight into relevant business theory and concepts supported by vocational examples. During sessions we aim to support learning with real business examples and take many free visits to local businesses.
What you need to get on
Students must achieve a minimum of 6 GSCEs at Grade 4 or above including English Language and Mathematics. If studied, then a Grade 4 or Merit in a Business qualification at Key stage 4.
