These BTEC Pre-vocational qualifications are available to all learners at this level who want to continue their education and develop their skills for progression to further learning and, ultimately, to employment. • The Subsidiary Award and Award are designed for learners who may be ready to progress quickly to further study from Entry Level 1 to Entry Level 2. • The Certificate and Extended Certificate are designed to be taken over one year or more, as a substantial qualification within a study programme that supports an appropriate pace and broad content.
