A single-session workshop course for those with some experience of dancing Sevillanas. Refresh your knowledge of dancing Spanish Sevillanas in time for the Ferias this year, both in UK and Spain. This workshop is aimed at improvers, intermediate and advanced level flamenco and / or Sevillanas dancers (male or female). Refresh all 4 verses of Sevillanas, concentrating on variations, style and (for those who want to) use of props (i.e. shawls, fans, castanets). You can choose to attend this workshop in the studio or live-streamed via Microsoft Teams. It is recommended that you attend in the studio if at all possible. You will receive a video of the workshop so you can continue to practise at home. Achievement on your course will be measured by whether you meet the following learning outcomes.

What you need to get on

This course is suitable for students of improvers, intermediate and advanced level only. You should be aware that it is a practical class and so you will need to be able to participate in the physical activities planned to the best of your ability. Your tutor is very happy to make any adjustments to exercises set to meet particular physical or learning needs.
