What the college says

This course is a great starting point if you want to become a boatbuilder and need broad foundation skills first. You will learn how boats are made and repaired and develop transferable workshop skills that employers value. Training covers multiple materials and gives you the base to progress into Level 3 boatbuilding.

What you need to get on

Entry requirements for external applicants and school leavers • Three or more GCSEs, including maths at grade 4 and the others at grade 3 or above, or successful completion of a relevant Level 1 qualification and GCSE maths grade 4 or equivalent. Entry requirements for existing learners with the Cornwall College Group • Successful completion of previous course and maths and/or English GCSE at grade 4 or above and the other at grade 3. Please note: Some of our courses may have extra entry
