This fast-track GCSE Biology course is designed for mature students who already have some science knowledge and want to gain a single-science qualification. It�s ideal if you�re looking to progress to an Access course, degree, PGCE programme or a health-related profession.
What you need to get on
You�ll need a minimum of grade 3 (D) in GCSE English and Maths, and a similar level of understanding in science. You�ll also have an informal interview with a tutor at enrolment.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
