What the college says
The A Level Biology course is a demanding yet exciting course that develops student understanding of key biological concepts, whilst also providing an opportunity for students to develop their practical skills. The course is taught across eight lessons per fortnight, during which there are activities and learning opportunities ranging from practical work, data and statistical analyses, to independent research and question and answer sessions.
What you need to get on
4 GCSEs Grade 9-6 including 2x Grade 6 Combined Science or 2 separate sciences (Biology with Chemistry or Physics). Grade 5 in Mathematics and English are required
How you are assessed
Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
