Module5: Communication, homeostasis and energy - Communication and homeostasis, Excretion as an example of homeostatic control, Neuronal communication, Hormonal communication, Plant and animal responses, Photosynthesis, Respiration. Module 6: Genetics, evolution and ecosystems - Cellular control, Patterns of inheritance, Manipulating genomes, Cloning and biotechnology, Ecosystems, Populations and sustainability.

What you need to get on

At least 8 9-5 grades at GCSE, including English Language and Mathematics. Students must also gain grade 6/6 in GCSE Double Science or a minimum of grade 6/6 in two of three Triple Science GCSEs - including Biology. Additionally, a minimum of a grade 6 in GCSE Mathematics is required.
