If you are well motivated, are interested in biology and enjoy a challenge then this is the course for you. You should feel confident in your understanding of GCSE chemistry as a large proportion of the course requires a knowledge of biochemistry. You must be able to work independently at home to review and learn the material covered in class.

A GCSE in Biology at a Grade 7 or Grade 7/7 in Combined Science is required to successfully undertake this course of study.
