This Level 2 Technical Specialist Qualification is designed to provide the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to perform specialised roles within a specific occupational area. This level 2 qualification covers exploring brain development in relation to holistic growth, with a particular focus on self-regulation and how to nurture this in children from birth to seven years. You will share knowledge of the impact of neuroscience on child development with staff and parents, evaluate pedagogical practice, recognise trauma in children and model co-regulation.
