This Level 2 Technical Specialist Qualification is designed to provide the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to perform specialised roles within a specific occupational area. In this qualification, you will explore what constitutes a healthy, balanced diet and understand the potential short- and long-term impacts of poor nutrition on babies and young children. You will learn how a healthy diet can support cognitive development in children and discover ways to promote the benefits of good nutrition inclusively and sensitively.
