This course offers a wonderful opportunity for you to begin your career working with young children. Combining both practical and theoretical learning, this exciting course allows you to learn in the classroom, in our early years practice room and off-site as part of your work experience hours. During the course, you will discover how to plan and create a range of activities in preparation for your work placement. You will also take part in a range of learning activities that will enable you to build a good knowledge of child development.

What you need to get on

This course is only available to those aged 16-18 years GCSE English Language or Maths at grade 3-9 plus four GCSEs at grade 2-9 (one must be English Language or Maths) You will need to attend an applicant event and have a successful DBS check You will also need a positive attitude to learning and commitment to good attendance at college and your work placement.

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
