What the college says

This is a skills based course which aims to develop students to a higher level of qualification in Beauty. It covers a wider variety of beauty therapy treatments and enables them to understand the effects each treatment has on the body and the body systems. Throughout the year students will be adding Electrical Therapy treatments and Holistic treatments to their existing qualifications and will once again be delivering these treatments to paying clients. Due to the advanced level of knowledge required to obtain a level 3 qualification, it is essential that students attend lessons regularly and show a willingness to work on clients during salon workshops and outside of the school hours.

All subjects have an average points score (APS) requirement; this is the average GCSE grade achieved in Year 11.
