The Level 2 Technical Certificate in Make-up Artistry aims to provide you with a range of essential technical and practical skills and knowledge, which will equip you to seek employment or further training within the Make-up Industry. These skills include carrying out services such as applying make-up and creative make-up artistry. Following successful completion of this qualification you will be qualified to work in a number of employment destinations such as; photographic studios, department stores, make-up stores or salons. You will also be equipped to work as a freelance Makeup artist. You will be taught by experienced vocational lecturers who have worked, or are currently working, in the Hair and Media Make-up Industry and they therefore have a wide and current experience of the industry's needs and trends. Students are expected to dedicate time for home study to develop and deepen the core underpinning knowledge, promoting long term memory.
