Suitable for absolute beginners who want to learn the fundamentals of bass playing. Coursework includes: developing good technique, scales and arpeggios, chord symbols, a range of chord sequences, rhythm and tempo exercises, reading music and rhythm notation. Creative work and performance will be focused on developing groove playing and basic improvisation in the styles of Swing, Rock and Funk.
