Take your welding skills to the next level with practical training designed to develop confidence and competence. Ideal for learners aiming for a Level 2 award or progression towards coded welder certification, the course provides hands on experience in MIG MAGS, TIG and ARC welding techniques.

What you need to get on

Some basic experience in welding is required. If you have no basic welding skills, we recommend attending a welding evening class before enrolling onto this course.

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
