For students with some previous experience in classical ballet and / or a minimum recent completion of at least two terms of beginner level study at Morley College. This course is intended to serve the needs of those who are consolidating beginner-level skills and who are beginning to improve towards a wider range of proficiency. A good level of fitness is required as this course is more technically challenging. Achievement on your course will be measured by whether you meet the course learning outcomes. At the start of the course you will have an opportunity to discuss these with your tutor and set your own personal targets, linked to the learning outcomes and future goals, i. e. progression to an advanced-level course.

Some previous knowledge of basic positions and vocabulary with one year's recent experience. A reasonable level of fitness is required to gradually build up stamina and strength. Commitment to attend class regularly and punctually.
