This course is for learners who would like to develop the knowledge and skills needed for volunteering and would like to explore how to look for volunteering opportunities in the community.

What you need to get on

You must be aged 19 or over by 31st August 2026. Enrolment is subject to GLA funding eligibility being confirmed in respect of residency, income, prior attainment and a skills check. The skills check is not an exam. It's for you to make sure you get on the right course at your current level.

How you are assessed

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
