This course is designed for people looking to work in a business and retail role. It will give you knowledge and understanding required to work in business and retail as well as exploring the types of jobs and tasks included within the role and how to work effectively within this environment.

What you need to get on

A desire to work in a school in the future or currently working in a role in a school. Ideally, you will have completed the Level 1 course or either have qualifications already at Level 2 or are able to show working ability at Level 2. You will require a good understanding of English, however holding a valid qualification is not essential.

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

What this level means

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
