This course is designed for people looking to become self-employed who already have some knowledge and/or experience of what it is required. It will give you detailed knowledge and understanding required to become successfully self-employed and market your own business to get the most from it.
What you need to get on
A desire to become self-employed in the future is important. You will require a good understanding of English at Level 2, however holding a valid qualification is not essential.
How you are assessed
Two-year technical qualification with a 45-day industry placement. Equivalent to three A levels.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
