Our Level 2 Introduction to Photography will provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to take your passion for photography to the next level. You will be introduced to the fundamental principles of digital and analogue photography practices and will gain a comprehensive understanding of the dynamic relationship between techniques, process, materials, and concepts. From mastering manual camera settings and composition principles to exploring the nuances of darkroom practices and digital printing, you will acquire a unique skill set that bridges the gap between the material culture of analogue photography and the dynamic innovations of the digital image making. You will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a creative and hands-on course, culminating in a portfolio of work that showcases your creative and technical innovation.

You must be 19 or over to study on this course. You do not need formal qualifications for this course but will be considered on your individual skills and experience. You must be able to follow instructions, be willing to work independently, produce answers in a clear and understandable form and organise information clearly.
