What the college says
The Personal and Social Development (PSD) qualifications offer imaginative ways of supporting young people in: -becoming confident individuals who are physically, emotionally and socially healthy -being responsible citizens who make a positive contribution to society and embrace change -managing risk together with their own wellbeing as well as introducing them to new activities and personal challenges. This course is offered to students following a post 16 study programme at Nethergate, following either an employability or independent living pathway. Units include those related to healthy living, personal safety, citizenship and community action.
What you need to get on
All students enrolled on this course are following a post-16 pathway at Nethergate and have an EHCP. No specific entry requirements but students will be assessed at working towards Entry Level 3.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

A supported starting point if exams have not gone well yet.
