This course is for students who have already achieved an L2 Award in Manicure and now wish to acquire a professional qualification in Nail Technology.
What you need to get on
The student must possess a Level 2 Manicure and Health and Safety qualification. You should be well groomed, and motivated and be able to communicate at all levels. You should be dexterous and well-coordinated. All students must receive advice and guidance via phone or email from either Nicky Maycock or Lindsay Curson before enrolment can take place.
How you are assessed
Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
