The ASDAN Entry Level Award in Employability (Entry 3) is designed to help learners develop the skills needed to become successful employees. The primary purpose of this qualification is to support them in overcoming barriers to entering work. The Entry 3 qualification is intended for young people and adults who are not yet ready for employment but for whom a job is a realistic aim within a reasonable timescale. This course is offered to students following a post 16 study programme at Nethergate, following an employability pathway. Units include those related to exploring job opportunities, health and safety in the workplace and participation in work experience placements.
What you need to get on
All students enrolled on this course are following a post-16 pathway at Nethergate and have an EHCP. No specific entry requirements but students will be initially assessed at working towards Entry Level 3.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

A supported starting point if exams have not gone well yet.
