This accredited course is intended as a stepping stone for people who want to work with children. By successfully completing this course you will achieve an Level 2 Award in Child Development (AIM Qualification)
What you need to get on
Assessment is completed via portfolio of written course work. Learners will need to be able to attend at least 80% of the sessions to complete the portfolio and individual tutorials will be offered during the course. Learners will need to have completed the Level 1 Award in Child Development or have previous relevant experience working with children to be eligible to enrol on this course
How you are assessed
Two-year technical qualification with a 45-day industry placement. Equivalent to three A levels.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
