This BTEC Level 2 course provides a good foundation for students wanting to access Level 3 BTEC Law. The course will give a good overview of the legal system, police powers and aspects of criminal law.
What you need to get on
To study this course, students must have 4 grade 3s and above in their GCSEs including a minimum grade 3 in English Language and Maths. Students do not need to have previously studied Law to enrol on the course.
How you are assessed
One subject in depth, assessed largely through coursework and projects.
What this level means
The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
