Spanish AS level builds on the skills developed at GCSE giving pupils the ability to understand spoken and written Spanish at a higher level, while also providing pupils with the tools to communicate confidently in written and spoken form.

What you need to get on

Minimum grade 6 in GCSE Spanish. General qualification requirements must also be met: GCSE English and Maths at grades 4-9; minimum three GCSEs at grades 6-9, and a further three GCSEs at grades 5-9. Native modern foreign languages are not normally counted. GCSE subject grades may only be counted once.
