What the college says
"This relaxing and therapeutic session explores how creative activities can promote relaxation, improve wellbeing, and reduce feelings of anxiety and stress. You will experiment with a range of art media, including acrylic paint, ink, pens, chalks, oil pastels, and watercolour pencils. You will also be encouraged to experiment with media and mix media, exploring the colour wheel and colour theory. Alternatively, you can use abstract art like Kandinsky's concentric circles to create a creative expression of your own interpretation of art and its nuance. By the end of the taster, I will be able to: Define primary colours, secondary colours and tertiary colours and create an abstract piece of artwork using mixed media. "
