This course is the UAL Level 1 Award and Diploma in Art, Design and Media. Whether you want to be a Graphic Designer, a Photographer, a Film producer, an Illustrator or a Fashion Designer, you have to start somewhere. This course is specifically designed to help you build the strong foundations you need to launch your educational pathway into the Creative Industries. The course will cover basics in drawing, model making, photography, digital imaging, and graphic communications. Although aimed at beginners, it does require some prior knowledge in Art, Design, and Media. The aim of the Level 1 course is to help you develop your skills and ideas so you can then progress to the Level 2 Diploma and beyond. From Level 2, you will start to specialise in one or more areas within the creative industries. To join the course, you will need an enthusiastic attitude, a willingness to try something different and four GCSEs (including a creative subject) at Grade 2 (E–F) or above..
