This exciting one-year course will offer you the chance to learn about a variety of art craft and design disciplines. You will explore painting drawing photography printmaking digitals arts and a range of 2D and 3D techniques. You will be able to develop a portfolio of work to support your progression onto a Level 3 qualification.

What you need to get on

4 GCSES at grade 3 including English or Maths OR a Level 1 pass in a related subject plus English or Maths and both English and Maths must be at least grade 2 / Level 1 Functional Skills.

How you are assessed

Learning a trade with tools and equipment, often in a college workshop or salon.

The GCSE-equivalent step, and the usual route into Level 3.
