Art & Design courses are taught by expert tutors with industry experience at the College's Centre for Excellence in Creative Arts, based in The Parson's Walk building. You will work on a wide range of projects, including live briefs set by external clients. You will also showcase your work to the public through exhibitions and competitions. This course provides an interesting and varied basic introduction to Art and Design. It will help you to develop your skills and confidence produce creative two and three-dimensional artworks. The main aim of this course is to develop both your art and wider skills such as employability and English and Maths, to enable you to progress to the next level course and in the longer term, gain future employment within the sector.
What you need to get on
A minimum of 5 GCSE subjects graded 9-2 or equivalent.
How you are assessed
Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.

A first step that builds towards Level 2.
