Graphic Communication is a creative activity focusing on the commercial, promotion-based aspects of Art and Design. It combines quality image-making with real-life situations and challenges. Graphic Communication spans the fields of advertising, typography, packaging, book/magazine illustration and posters, to name but a few.

What you need to get on

To study A level Graphics, you must have achieved at least a grade 5 in an Art-based subject. Candidates must have a genuine interest in Art & Design and a desire to study Graphic Communication in great depth. You are expected to put in a considerable amount of study time, both in lessons and at home due to the nature of the course and to fulfil content.

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
