The foundation course is a fast-paced, intensive, creative arts course. It is designed to help you build the creative and conceptual skill-set necessary for you to identify and develop your specialism. Our students go on to study in a wide range of subjects such as illustration, graphics, fine art, fashion, textiles, photography, jewellery, 3D design and many more. The course helps you build exciting, original portfolios to help you get to the universities of your choice.Along the way you will learn a whole new range of skills using our modern facilities; including various Mac suites, laser cutters, printmaking facilities, wet darkrooms, photo studios and 3D workshops. You will be taught by practicing artists, who will challenge and support your creativity.The course is not only a fantastic opportunity for those just out of A level or extended diploma but is also a good way for more mature learners to find their way back into creative careers.

What you need to get on

A Level Art and/or Design at grade A*-C and a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade A*-C including English and maths at grade C/4 or higher OR Art and Design Extended Diploma Level 3 and GCSE English and maths at grade C/4 or higher. Entry criteria will be applied at the discretion of the course manager.
