Art, Craft and Design – through a broad based course of study, developed through a range of 2D, 3D and time-based processes and media, drawn from disciplines. Students will have opportunities to generate practical work, ideas and research from primary, secondary and contextual studies. They will experiment with media and processes, and develop and refine their ideas, presenting their outcomes.

What you need to get on

GCSE Art grade 6 or above Equivalent in a GCSE creative subject such as Design Technology – Graphics, Product Design, Textiles (students would be asked to provide a portfolio of own artwork).

How you are assessed

Academic subjects, mostly exams, three or four at once. The traditional route to university.
