This course is the UAL Level 2 Award and Diploma in Art and Design. Our Level 2 programme is your first step towards pursuing a career in an art, design or craft-related specialism. Throughout this course, you will delve into a range of materials, processes, and techniques, making use of our Makerspace facilities to produce and develop your work. You will explore 2D, 3D and time-based disciplines by working to briefs based on a variety of themes. You will look into art and design history, artist and designer research, and current world context to spark your imagination and influence your outcomes. This course will broaden your art and design skills and build confidence in working across specialisms such as fine art, graphic design, illustration, textiles, and photography, with the aim of writing a project proposal for your final project, in a specialism of your interest. You will gain knowledge that links to creative industry careers in preparation for employment or progression onto our Level 3 programmes. . .. What you need to get on

Entry level and Level 1 study, English and maths retakes, and supported programmes.
